Hello
Your internet wandering has brought you to the data frappé
that is Jamie Turner's home on the web--otherwise known as jamwt.com.
If you can't find what you're looking for, please feel free to either
email me or simply
write this site off as another successful waste of fifteen minutes.
Projects
You're probably looking for one of these:
- CVSHistory
|
CVSHistory is a web interface to browse and search a
CVS
history file in order to track development activity on
a software project. It is designed to integrate into
ViewCVS or
CVSweb,
but it can be used as a standalone script if necessary.
It includes powerful search functionality to limit the entries
by user, filename, directory, revision, date, or CVS command
type. Regular expressions, value ranges, and inclusion/exclusion
rules are supported.
|
- wl
|
wl is a whitelist/blacklist program for email. It reads an email, tests
its headers against user-specified criteria, then writes the email back
out with a new header added to specify if the email has been classified
whitelisted or blacklisted.
|
- Py-TOC
|
Py-TOC is a Python module that allows you to design and program
automated entities--often referred to as "bots"--that participate on the
AOL Instant Messenger network. It allows you to utilize the incredible
power of the Python language and library when writing scripts that interact
with users of AOL Instant Messenger and its free equivalents.
|
- cm
|
cm is a flexible mail checking utility that can probe
multiple mail queues. It currently supports any number
of mbox, Maildir, IMAP4, and POP3 mailboxes.
|
- pyrip

pyrip allows you to extract audio tracks off CDs from python programs.

Miscellaneous
- Python in 10 minutes --
A quick introduction to python fundamentals. This short
walkthough of the basic types is probably best suited to programmers who want
some "python in a nutshell."
- Unix Command-Line Intro -- I
wrote this as a "one-off" for a friend who was getting accustomed to
Unix. Since it actually does have quite a bit of useful information
in it, I'll keep it available. Maybe someday, I'll even clean
it up and make it well organized!
- UCLA Education --
Performed at UCLA Spring Sing a few years ago, written by the company.
It probably applies to college in general, so chuckle! Sung to the tune
of The Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Californication."
Contacting Me
The best way to contact me is through email, but I'm also often on AIM.
